Dinner and Movie: Still The Perfect Date

Well dine by candle light by ChrisGampat.

Well dine by candle light by ChrisGampat.

It is Friday, time to figure out what your plans are for the weekend. If you are single or married Dinner and Movie is still consider being a perfect date. It is easy and relatively not expensive. A dinner and a movie provides both the opportunity to stimulate dialogue (important) and it provides entertainment. It is a perfect blend date.

Rules

1. Never arrive to pick up your date late. This also includes married men. Women regardless of how long you have been in a relationship with them still want to feel like every date is the first date.

2. Don’t rush. Unless she is a Type A woman, most women hate to feel rushed. Even if they are still getting dressed rushing them causes for the date to feel like a business meeting . (Remembr: Special Moment Needs Special Preparations, always complement )

3. Pay For Dinner and the Movie. If you are single and want to warrant a second date it is important to pay the entire evening. Even if you are married and the money is coming out of the same account pay for the meal. (Special Moments Require Special Consideration.)

4. Picking the movie is possibly one of the hardest things to do that evening. Be considerate of her. Don’t assume that she wants to see what you want to see. Don’t believe she wants to see a chick flick either. A romantic comedy is always safe and an anticipated blockbuster film is safe, unless it is Star Wars. Too many people in the theater can create a romantic night to feel like a concert. Hint: Tyler Perry Movies are a must (This one you don’t have a choice).

6. After the movie use your surroundings to stimulate conversation. A pleasant summer walk in a warm breeze night is always good. (Single Guys if it is a Tyler Perry Movie, don’t go to sleep and absorb the lesson.)

7. When you take her home, escort her to the door,  compliment the delightful night you had. A goodnight kiss or a hug goes a long way. If you appear to be sincere, romantic and yourself you have given her the perfect date.

Have a Wonderful Weekend. Let me know how your evening goes.

General Rules

Eye Contact and Body Language go along way, make her feel that you are in-tuned to her conversation and you are interested in her.

Use of cell phone and texting can seriously mess up a perfect evening. If you are married, take the time make this moment feel like a first date cut the business or job off. Giver her all your attention. If you are a single dad like me put the ring on vibrate and check it at discreet moments, like when she goes to the restroom.

Don’t Judge Me
